Survival

In order to truley understand an ecosystem, one must first learn how to survive off the land in that ecosystem.

BOSS(Boulder Outdoor School of Survival) Desert Survival

BOSS survival school is an expedition survival school where they believe the best way to learn is through first hand experience. Unlike most survival schools where you learn hard skills at a base camp, BOSS simulates survival as you trek through the desert. The first and most important phase of the training is 'impact' phase. Over the course of the first 3 days you hike up to 30 miles a day and are not given any food, thus simulating a survival situation.

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.
