Michael Potter is an award winning wildlife cinematographer and producer. With his intensive survival training it has led him to film in some of the most remote places in the world.

Michael Potter began his formal training at Savannah College of Art and Design where he worked with National Geographic’s Kevin McCarey. It was this pivotal moment that Michael began to truly understand the beauty of nature and the power of film. In pursuit of his passion, he has traveled to nearly every ecosystem around the world filming for such productions as National Geographic, TIME, and Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain. Michael recognizes that as our society evolves, humans tend to remove themselves from nature. His goal is to tell nature’s stories in a way that puts humans back in the narrative.
